Install
Run the installer, or make the AppImage executable and open it. It takes a minute.

Add an account
Microsoft for official servers, Ely.by or Discord for skins and friends — or an offline account to play right away.

Play
Pick a version or a modpack and press Play. Java and the loader install on their own.
What you need
- Windows
- 10 or 11, 64-bit — the installer (.exe)
- Linux
- x64 — AppImage for any distribution, .deb for Debian and Ubuntu
- Java
- Not needed — the launcher downloads the right one for each version
- Internet
- For the first download of a version; an offline account then plays without it
